Blech, Monday

thistlechaserIt's pretty bad to be counting the hours until 5 PM on Friday, isn't it? Yeah, thought so...
Last week I got an email from LJ saying that my paid account was about to expire. After much thought (and remembering the coupons I had from when they changed the whole invite-system), I renewed my paid account for about half the cost it usually would be. Today I got an email saying my extra icon space was about to expire. That didn't take hardly a thought, I did not renew it. Cutting my 50 icons down to 25 was pretty darned easy, but losing the last 10 was a little harder. I made the cut though, and I'm not crying or missing them or anything. Heck, I'm happy to be giving a little less of my money to the LJ team.
The weekend was okay, other than me having spent the whole day yesterday thinking it was Halloween. I scratched my head at the lack of trick-or-treaters, then sometime late that night noticed that the date was the 24th, not the 31st. Heh.
The blame for my Halloween confusion probably belongs to FFXI: Their Halloween event started on Friday (and runs through November 1st), so I was in Halloween head-space. It's nice being on the other side of holiday events: On the MUSH I had to come up with and run holiday things, but in FFXI I get to be "just" a player and enjoy stuff.
Work is, once more, kicking my ass big time. Plus, somehow, I need to get through 150 posts on my flist. (Ugh.) I'll try to get onto IRC at some point today, but I don't know when or for how long. Ugh.
My co-worker needs to die. "IIIIIIIIIIIIIII wiiiiiiiiiiiiiilll aaaalllllllllwaaaaaaayssss looooove youuuuuuuuuuu" I hear these sucky as hell songs every single day. I hear the Titanic song many times a day! How the hell can anyone willingly listen to this crap? They play the same songs every single day! Grumble.
