* Work: Day before my vacation. Too much to do, too little time. Not only was it a busy Friday (sucky), it was a busy Friday before vacation (extra sucky). I won't bitch overly long, just enough to say that I was counting minutes till the day ended.

* Cat news: She went in to the vet today to check the lump I found (right where her cancer had been removed). The vet isn't sure, but she thinks it's benign, so we're going to leave it and watch it for a while. However, while she was there for that, the doctor noticed she had a heart murmur. :( My poor little girl needs a break! I guess more right would be 'my poor old lady cat', she is getting up there, but...

We (they) took X-rays of her today. The cardiologist will look at them when he's in the office (the Wednesday after next). The vet tech kids were smiling and chuckling at me. I come in there more than any other patient. I'm thinking about bringing them a plate full of cookies or something. They take really good care of her.

* Stress: Well, let's just say that hopefully it'll go away some on my vacation. Playing AC helps, but then I fall behind on my MUSH work and RL stuff. Sigh. I had no time to do MUSH work today (just one day behind!) and I have a crapload of stuff to do. From just not working one day. Sigh.

* Animal Crossing news: Played for 3-4 hours tonight (see why no time for MUSH work? Or one of the reasons, anyway). There's so much to the darned game! I got my fishing pole tonight (Yay! Means I can enter the fishing contest on Sunday morning). I got my house upgraded (which means another loan. Started out $140,000 in debt, got it down to $120,000 in one day of hard work).

Got the feng shui set up in my (AC) house, now that it's big enough that I don't have to pile myself up. Hopefully now I'll have better luck finding things.

For those playing the game (or thinking about getting it), I'd highly recommend getting a memory card (so it'll be a second one, the game comes with one). Then you can set up two houses. That's two stores instead of one, two types of fruit (fruit not native to your town sells for five times as much, so you can sell fruit from one town to the other), more things to find and do, and the biggest thing: Your villagers will move from one town to the other. That's especially handy when you don't have RL people around that you can play with.

Anyway, enough chatter here. On to MUSH work.
