Holy cow, it's cold out!
Nov. 30th, 2004 11:24 amYesterday I said to myself "No matter how cold it is, I'm going out walking in the morning." This morning I woke up, saw it was 34 degrees out (just two degrees above freezing, for those of you using other systems), laughed to myself and said "No way in hell". I'm really going to have to find some aerobic indoor exercise I can do, because I just can't deal with being out in that kind of cold. (Yes, yes, you snow-people, go ahead and mock poor little Californian me!)

While I had intended to try to RP on my new MUSH (Denver), work is just totally kicking my ass today, so I can't. (I can't even sit in the OOC room and chat. Bad work, bad!) Know the oddest thing about having a new MUSH? The code. I keep going "ooooh, this is such a good idea! I should add this to Pok... no, wait." and "Ohhh, I love this! I wonder how they did it!". Plus I recognize the weather/time code they use. :) Funny how much I miss MUSH coding...
---
Apparently I'm headed into one of those periods of bad sleep. *cry* After getting only 2-3 hours the night before, I only got a couple hours last night as well. Couldn't fall asleep, couldn't stay asleep, had nightmares, woke up way too early. Why? And why the heck does this happen in a cycle, seemingly related to nothing else in my life?

Date: 2004-11-30 11:31 am (UTC)I don't care what anyone says, 34 degrees is damned cold, no matter where you are. There's colder, but that's plenty. @_@

Date: 2004-11-30 11:40 am (UTC)And then, five minutes later, it would hail and we'd all laugh, because hail is funny when you're been driven insane by weather than can't make up it's mind. ;)

But I think that's damn cold and can't believe people actually want to live in Norway all year round. Our summers are nice, but they barely last two months.
Maa, I guess it'd be boring to live some place the seasons barely changed, too.

Date: 2004-11-30 01:05 pm (UTC)But seriously, yeah. Norway always sounds like such a nice place, but I think the weather would keep me away.

Date: 2004-11-30 01:12 pm (UTC)(While I try not to remember it, when I lived back in NY I liked the snow and the winter. Now I get cold if it's under 70! So that makes sense.)
