A question of dire importance!!!

A poll on a life-changing matter of utmost importance! ...or not.

Neopets people, help me! I have 93K in the bank right now, and I should hit 100K tomorrow, which is exactly the price of the island paint brush.

I currently look like this (blue), but with the island brush I could look much cooler! Like that! (Island).

Other than interest at the bank (which is about 25 NP/day if I keep all 100K in there), is there any reason to save up money, other than to spend it?

Help me decide! I'm not interested in playing with that ray gun thingie, so it's not like I'd later risk changing the color/race/sex and thus losing the change.

Frankie says you've got a lab ray now... if you've got the lab ray that you're going to be using, why paint? It's just going to change anyways, like as not...

Interest isn't that much, and unless things have changed since I played Neopets a ton, you don't get the interest unless you remember to go to the bank /every/ day and collect it. So if you want the island paint brush, I say go for it.

...I do? I don't think so. You need the map pieces for that, right? I've never gotten one single piece. And honestly, I don't want to fool around with the ray, since I don't want my race or sex (or color!) changed...
