Quickie post (FFXI)

This sure has been some weekend! Getting so much done! After weeks and weeks of skilling, roughly 15-20 hours a week working on skilling, 110+ levels gained, finally:



The darned skill level/move that kept me from getting so many invites is now mine! The very first thing I'd like to use my GS skill for is to make sure I don't miss when I attempt to stick my stupid GS up someone's... *ahem* Today was one of the more insulting days, when it came to that. One person invited me to a party, then after I agreed to come out (I hadn't even been seeking!) she asked me about my GS. Then she told me she'd look for someone better than me but take me if she couldn't get anyone else. Yeah, sure, thanks a lot. Turns out she did want me to come out, but I hadn't even wanted to XP (see also: my flag not being up) and after her making it clear she was just settling for me because she couldn't get anyone better... I don't need that.

So yay! All done skilling, no more wasting whole days trying to level it! Yay!

zubis hadn't believed that I saw his name in NPC text, so here it is.

I spent a couple hours farming today while party seeking (before I took my flag down), and came upon some interesting things:

What the heck is he doing to that poor crawler?!

Happily I have a buffer for tomorrow, but just barely. I'm not sure I could take two deaths without deleveling, even if I got R3s. Let's hope for another death-free outing! *knocks on wood*

The NPC that's talking about Zubis is one of the title-changing NPCs. In one of the updates, they added a bit where once you get your title changed, the NPC will sing it out to people nearby. So Zubis must've just gotten his title changed, and you happened to be standing near him.

...you've been stalking poor Zub again, haven't you? ;p
