First cats! Because cats rule and dogs drool~! This is the cutest video ever.
And dogs: Quoting this CNN story:
ST. PETERS, Missouri (AP) -- A woman angry that her new puppy had died pushed her way into a dog breeder's home and repeatedly hit her on the head with the dead Chihuahua, authorities said.
The breeder wrestled the woman out of her house to the front porch, where the woman then hit the breeder over the head numerous times with the dead puppy, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported, citing police.
Poor dead puppy, but still! *snerk*

Date: 2006-06-08 11:03 pm (UTC)Basically i just wanted to suggest combining pointless farming and solo xping on low level jobs instead of terrible dunes PTs.
The drop rate on mobs that are EP+ instead of too weak just seems much higher, you can kill low EP very fast without really losing hardly any hp, kill fast and with xp ring and you get xp at a very decent rate that way.
Plus you don't feel like you're wasting as much time because you're also farming basically. Silk, beehive chips, crystals, etc.
A few extra tricks can make sure you never even need to rest (especially with something like bard), and if you're ever in trouble keep a signal pearl on. I do this with my jobs and it's pretty fun and rewarding, plus you can triple up on utility by using weapons or things that you need to skillup (archery, marksmanship, weapons, songs, etc) and you'll feel even more satisfied and productive.
Carry with you some cool items like the now really cheap Hi-potion+3 if you are really in danger, warp scrolls, etc, it's cool to be rich experienced resourceful and powerful, and you really notice it while soloing (while in xp pt if you're surrounded by terrible players you really are screwed no matter what).

Date: 2006-06-09 04:37 pm (UTC)Yeah, in general I like to do that. Way less stressy, and of course way fewer annoying people! I figured BRD would be different though, I thought that since it got insta-invites I could just leave if the party wasn't outstanding. Then, after standing on the Dunes zoneline seeking for more than an hour before getting an invite, I had to re-think that. Heh.
, and if you're ever in trouble keep a signal pearl on.
It's nice to have a safety net like that! I usually keep mine on while soloing, and it's no loss since usually you won't be using earrings while that low anyway...
Thanks for the ideas!
