Busy Monday (FFXI)

Monday night is Eco and Escort night, which usually leaves me little time for anything else. Today I decided to sneak my digging in before Eco, which was a great thing! I'm going to keep doing that if I can!

While it was good to get digging out of the way early, the digging itself was... annoying. As is becoming usual. Not just that I only got two gold beastcoins (what the heck happened to three being the normal? And sometimes getting up to five?), but that I got other rare/very rare stuff that was crap.

In Meri Mountains, the "rare" level stuff you can get are: yellow rock (worth 2-3K) or gold beastcoin (~20K). "Very rare" are: adaman ore (~40K) or black chocobo feather (vendor trash). Tonight I got two yellow rocks and two damned black chocobo feathers! Grrrrr! If the rocks had been coins and the feathers had been ores, this would have been the best digging ever. *grumble*

Eco and Escort = 2K XP on WAR. Nearly 30. Will go back to XPing it soon. (Or so I keep saying.)

After that I spent 45 minutes lost in Castle Oz trying to find a NPC. I swear, there is no one on the game with as sucky of a sense of direction as me. Finally found him, now just have to go to Beaux-whatever to kill some quads and finish the quest (jaguar mantle). I'm doing the quest just so I can do the next one and hand in the demon pen that has been cluttering up my storage for months.

Tomorrow is BRD static, but I totally forgot to get ready before logging off. >< I logged off at the Sandy chocobo stable, so I can check my egg tomorrow. Luckily I'm /BLM, so I can just warp back to get ready. Hopefully the warp taru won't be taken during the day, so I can get back to Jeuno after. Maybe I'll come home at lunchtime so I can get ready then...

Y'know, the kitten in your icon looks like Tommy. And nope, he can't fly. In fact, half the time he can barely walk across the room (I might add that he rarely walks on the floor, rather the bed, the chair, the desk, and the dresser) without falling.

Must be Eadwyn then. I know ONE of the DEA group hasn't got a sense of direction. :) I know it isn't Draque, you just said it wasn't Auri...

I don't know, I don't think any of them has the problem? Though Aurian claims all DRGs do... But I followed her through Meri Mountains the other day, and she didn't get lost even once.

My lousy sense of direction only applies to zones that have lots of trees in them. The more trees, the more likely I am to make wrong turns. I have yet to get through Jugner without making at least one detour.

Hmmmmm. So next time I go to war against the DRGs, I need to enlist trees!
