Lost and FFXI

thistlechaserLost continues to put me to sleep. At best it annoys me. (The kiss? Gah. Please.) They're even making me dislike the few characters left that I like. Didn't help that there were so many subtitles tonight -- impossible to multitask. Bah.

FFXI: YAY! Finally a good day! Busy, but for once I got everything done with time to spare! (Though I did have to skip a level 3 Besieged to do it. :/ )
We started out with three runs of the oddly named Celery. (60 cap. Four ghosts, you pick one to kill, the other three vanish.) We won all three, easy-peasy! Des and the four ghosts. We did it as NIN, BRD, and WHM.
The first run worried us a little, nothing good... or so we thought. Turns out both the rainbow cloth and ring were ~200K!
Win #2: Woo! Des's earring dropped! Plus the knife that Bara wanted!
Win #3: Another earring and another knife!
The harp I wanted didn't drop, but the earring is worth 10 times it, so it all works out!
We're going to do another run next week. :D Profitable and fun, how can you go wrong?
Though I had come home for lunch to try to get things done (as usual) I still hadn't gotten any of my daily tasks (guild turn-in, check chocobo, dig) finished. Luckily the BC runs didn't take too much time, so I got those completed plus got a jump on making some leather to sell and store.
Tried to skill leather. Spent about 400K, got .1 skillup. c.c Luckily, after desynthing it all, I had enough left for one synth and got a skillup on that! 98.7. Should hit 99 in a night or two, assuming I can get my hands on enough hides.
So all in all it was a good night. The week will continue to be busy even though nothing is planned. (Oh my god, I have so much farming I need to do! I actually bought beeswax yesterday! At the markup that stuff sells for! I wanted to cry, but I had no choice: I needed it for guild turnin and didn't have time to farm/synth it.)
Bed now. zzzzz
