Best part of the day: Eureka marathon on the SciFi channel. I was never able to get into it before, but I'm loving it now!

laurelwood's post subject line ("Let them eat burgers!", a post about the grocery store being out of turkeys so instead selling ground turkey meat) amused me, since that's what I had. Baked potato, a veggie burger, and Cool Whip... though not all at the same time. Cool Whip is yummy, even though there's no dairy in it. I have no idea how I got it -- I didn't put it in my cart and I didn't spot it as being out of place when I checked out, but it was nice having something sweet today. Plus: cats like Cool Whip a lot.
In FFXI news, I'm about to give up on the Sky Pot quest. As of today, I've spent 143K on it and have not one single thing to show for it. I think there's a phrase that goes something like 'throwing good money after bad'...
