Very sleepy and very grumpy. The latter caused by the former.

Things done today:
- Finally gobbiebag upgrade on Chaser. Damned people raising the price 10K on a 30K item. >< Four gems up, I couldn't get any of them for less than 10K over the history. Hate people.
- Chaser's gold went from 28 to nearly 31. Noticed that she's nearly at mythril (my-thrill~) stage. I hadn't realized that was so low! Bastok is in first so I'd really really really like her to get through the ore -> ingot stage of it before Sunday, but &$#@&$ idiot people drove the silver ore prices from 300 to 1,200 and I need a couple more levels of that before I can move her to mythril. If it's not better tomorrow I might need to try to have Thistle desynth silver rings, but he has the most god-awful luck with desynthing. Tends to work out cheaper to buy stacks of ingots, which I really really really do not want to do. (Buying premade ingots =/= doing gold as cheaply as possible.)
- Digging was crap, other than getting 6 gold beastcoins. *saves them away for Chaser to skill on*
- Pre-dawn Besieged. First the darned zone was full &#$*&@~$& then when I finally got in I only got 420 reward. &R&$# My own fault, since I needed to get ready for work while it was going on.
- Scurried (speeded c.c ) home from work for another Besieged. Kept picturing me being stopped by a cop and trying to explain that I had to drive fast because trolls were attacking. Slowed down.

Screenshots!

I saw my first GM live and in person! (I've spoken to them by /tell before, but never saw one outside of screenshots.) Front and back in one screenshot. Don't know why they have that shimmery thing going on, it's kind of silly.

Other than the instrument glitch, this is a pretty darned cool screenshot: Bad wolfie! No gnawing on your knife! The shot was supposed to be a picture of me gnawing on the flute. :P Also cool because it's one of my only Assault screenshots! (I'm usually too busy to take pictures.) People attacking the wall in the background! Yay! (Des's HP is low on purpose.)

Satisfying damage numbers on that Carby Mitts NM:

I haven't had time to work on SMN since getting the mitts. *cough*

We got revenge on the stupid Goblin Archaeologist. Wasn't really the same though, since this one was basically four-shotted by the NIN. :/ It was dead before it could even think about WSing. 50% life by the time folks had swung once.

And woo! Another tallymark in the 'ToAU rocks!' listing: Marid! We farmed them the other day and saw the coolest thing. Well, the critter itself is pretty darned cool... and ugly! But the really cool thing was its tusks! One really broke off and we got it as a drop! And when two broke off we really got two! Mobs that change as you fight them, so cool!

And lastly: Froggies! One of the most fun part of Besieged! This might be my favorite shot -- such cute froggies! And another group shot (*sniffle* I really am a small frog. ; ; ). Lastly, this was amusing: Itty bitty frog hitting big bad RDM, I was doing 100-200 to her each "swing". She kept trying to sleep me, but I kept interrupting her! Heehee. Finally she succeeded though. :( Silly mithra! You're supposed to kiss the frog before you sleep with it!

Don't worry, the iolite wasn't the only item inflated. =p HQ eft skins were up to 10K with 27 on the AH when I bought it, and I couldn't get it any cheaper. ; ;

Though I got all my GB6 items now. =O It may be awhile before I get the quest done though. Cursed mule that lives in Sky. Though I'm gonna have to make her leave Sky next week, bwahaha.

And I keep fighting the froggies and hoping I get turned into one, but it'd rather use Death on me. ; ;

Unfortunately I know. I had the misfortune of partying with Gunnysgirl. Her boyfriend (Gunny) is a Marine and he's going to Iraq soon. She was the WHM of our party. Every single time she cured, she shouted in all caps 'HURRAH!' and other Marine-noises. All caps, every single cure. Was annoying as all hell.

Then she had Gunny come to "PL" us. He was 5 levels above us. She would waste her MP keeping him alive, causing more downtime for the party than before we had a "PL".

Not to mention, we had to hear endlessly about how much she loved him and crap.

Oh, huh! I never had Death cast on me, luckily. Do you die right away or is there a countdown like when you're Doomed?

You just kind of...die. I never see them cast Death on me because I have filters on, but I see myself drop from 1600 HP to 0 with nothing between, it's a good assumption. =O
