thistlechaserYay! Chaser got her shades! And, unlike Thistle's, hers really feel useful!
Skilled from 62.9 to 65.2! Multiple levels in one day! Plat is such love, I was sorry to hit cap on it (64). Wonderful wonderful Draque made me 40-something (46? 48?) bone patas, which got me a level plus .2. OMG such hate for patas. First off, I hate asking anyone to do that much work for me. (And D wouldn't even take money! Ack! ) Second, hydro patas are somehow horrible skillups for Chaser (yet were fine for Thistle). While I was planning to get two more levels off them, I can't stand them and I don't want to do them anymore. Problem is, what to do in their place... :/ I suppose I could do plat ingots -> plat rings 5 levels below cap, but I really want to minimize the loss there (plus my supply of plat is very limited).
In Thistle-news, our XP static went to fight trolls! Our first time doing them. (Thickets and Mire were both packed.) The XP was anything but hot (old area-type XP, I think about 12K in 3 hours?) and the camp took a while to get to, but it was really nice because the place was empty and trolls are easy and smushy. I had a hard time sticking songs to them (WTF? Been 50+ levels since I had trouble with that!) but at least sleep stuck mostly fine and that's what's important. Few more weeks and we'll hit 73!
Got Chaser to MNK 10. One more solo day to get her to 12 or 13, then off to the Dunes I suppose. :/ Maybe we can get a LS worm party happening instead. Need to get her to 20 for a chocobo (and get the Mea crystal) then get her over to Whitegate to get a locker!
Um. Other stuff happened today, but I can't recall what. Sleepy. Waiting for one Besieged to hit very soon (Advancing now), and Undead are slowly building. Going to be a late late night!
