I killed 754857185417501501 worms today (FFXI)

Yesterday and today were boring but necessary. Last night I made 7847507150171 bolts to kill 87481751754105407 worms with. Seriously, I made bolts for hours. It was very boring. Ended up with 4+ stacks of quivers of bloody and sleep bolts though.

This morning I woke up way too early (7 AM, ugh). There was a Besieged going on, but the zone was full and I didn't feel like dealing with the frustration of beating my head against the zoneline for an hour. Showered, then headed off to Korroloka Tunnel.

Soloing there was so easy I felt like I was cheating. Other than the party with three PLs, the whole day was cake. After the first hour or so, I didn't even bother keeping shadows up. (Worms were EP to EM.) In two hours, with two charges of the anniversary ring, I had two levels (25 -> 27). Full levels, as I hadn't even had a buffer on 25. Then we did Escort. I was going to stop there, but decided to go back and shoot more. Unfortunately I just used the normal XP band, so it took a lot longer. Didn't help that most of the worms were now EP. Took me about two and a half more hours to get to 28.

While I'm happy to have RNG subjob leveled a little more, I did a number on my arm/thumb. At least two pulled muscles and bleeding under my thumbnail from hitting the same macro for 5 hours. (I knew my thumb was hurting, but I didn't notice the bloody thing until hours later.) Go go go RSI for a game!

At least COR is set until 56. That kind of boggles me a little, as I'll be in part of the AF by then! I need to get back to work on collecting/making the other materials I need, I slacked off after getting just one of them.

RL is sucking somewhat. In the last six nights, I've gotten no more than 4-5 hours of sleep a night. Starving, but never really got food today. Stupid me, tomorrow I intend to go out and get something to eat.

No game plans tomorrow that I know of, though I do feel like I'm forgetting something...

Highly strange Hot & Cold. Look where the chest ended up. Did it not have room to appear at my feet? Or does level not matter? (Would I have hit the right spot down there, too?) Also, H&C is going back towards the 'not worth the time/outpost cost', which is highly sad. For a while it was really, really, really nice.

RNG (and COR I would assume by extension) is one of those jobs that would benefit from a controller I think. For myself, I don't have a macro set up for RA... I have it hotkeyed to Ctrl+D, which I found to be a shorter and much more comfortable stretch on my hand than trying to hit something up on the number row. You might fiddle with it a bit to find a key combination that is less stressful on your hand. (I used to get handcramps all the time before I got smart and experimented some ^^; )

I am also leveling RNG right now, and it's definitely better with a controller. And I normally hate using a controller. Unfortunately, the one we have for the PC is a bad shape and size for my hands.

Got the Jungle chocograph yesterday. Didn't find the chest, but I was just impressed to make it to the spot marked on the map with my non-existent jungle navigation skills before my chocobo ran away from me -.-

That is one good thing about H&C: I have zero sense of direction, but I can now get around the jungle nearly with my eyes closed! I outpost in, and the spot is always, always, always across the map. I never thought I'd get that darned zone memorized!
