Low content, high image post

thistlechaserIt's hot, but how can anyone complain about California weather? September 20th and it's still /beautiful/ out. It got up to 90 today, which is a tad hot for comfort, but that's a heck of a lot better than snow!
My groceries got delivered tonight. I must have been seriously hungry or utterly insane last night when I placed the order. Luckily all the frozen stuff just barely fits in the freezer (that's one of my very few complaints about my new apartment, the freezer is too small). I think I really must have been crazy, I bought three shopping bags full of chocolate things. And lots of cookies, too. And cereal was on sale, 5 boxes for $10, so I have a ton of cereal, too. I'm insane! (But at least I won't have to go shopping again for a long time.)
I played FFX some tonight, but not for the hours on end like I had been. I finally got the Airship to move (stupid hiding Yuna), so I went to the Calm Lands to hit the Arena (I missed that the first time through). While monster hunting, I was thinking about how totally beautiful some of the fiends were.

Coeurl is this massive white-tiger looking thing. So big and strong (my picture doesn't do it justice, I'm a poor artist), but it has these really long ribbons coming out of its muzzle (like whiskers, but one on each side). It's tail is super-long (longer than in my sketch), and tipped with ribbons. Ribbons! How can something evil be so pretty?

.... Mmmm, chocolate. *.* I need to go shopping. c.c I'm out of chocolaty goodness and Mountain Dew.

Date: 2002-09-20 10:21 pm (UTC)I'm pondering ways other than drawing of capturing images of some of the better baddies. I might try taking a picture with my digital camera, but I'm betting that might not work out well...
And you're free to help yourself to some of my chocolate! We're only half the country apart, I think?
