Screenshot time! (HP, FFXI)

thistlechaserBit of HP first: The Powder Puff Girls usually do nothing for me, but this is too darned cute (DH spoiler). You can find more here, including a darned cute... um... spoiler. Critter in the second picture. :)

Haven't been doing much lately, other than trying to skill Chaser's gold (sell you damned beads! Sell!), and doing leather synths on Thistle. Been doing some cerberus mantle synths for a HNM guy and he's sending lots of business my way. It's sort of nice to be using my leather after not touching it for so long. Not to mention that the money is darned good.
Related to that, he asked me to join his LS (PlusOne), and unfortunately I laughed in his face. I didn't mean to insult him, but the idea of me in a HNM LS was too funny. It was kind of him to ask, but I like being nothing but a big slacker.
Assault Static is going well. We did Evade & Escape as our new one this week. Mmm, yummy dirt. (Two dragons were coming at me, one from either end of the tunnel. There was no where for me to go.) Amusingly, the dragons showed up in one of my nightmares that night! (Totally unrelated to FFXI foo, just had a night of nightmares.) Luckily we beat it on the first try, mostly thanks to sneaky Dani, Nai, and Des.
I have zero plans for the weekend, other than hoping (as I do every weekend) that I'll make it to the RL farmer's market.

I really, really, really hate PUP AF, but surprisingly it can look good, even hot, on my model. No way I'll level the job though, no matter how good it looks!
Two months ago I mentioned a NM we were hunting. I said I couldn't give the name because apparently no one was camping it yet, but it's been two months since then and we've not gone hunting it since, so I guess it's okay now. Northern Piranu! Meeean fish! Drops some special katana for NINs, but we didn't get it:

I've made two of these in the last couple weeks:
That means there are seven signed ones out there floating somewhere. Cool!
And speaking of floating... Silly chest! It was probably floating because they've been so empty lately. :P
And lastly: Knock on wood, for all the Besiegeds I attend, I've never been dead at the end of one. Tonight ended that trend... sort of?
I had time before the CS started to reraise, so I got my points. Yay! So close though! No fair being killed after it ends!
Yay! Now I can finally empty my screenshot folder!

Date: 2007-07-28 07:02 pm (UTC)When you guys hit Corporal, it opens up a bunch of ones that you can do in small groups if you want to divide into two groups of three for more efficient AP farming. Searat Salvation (Ilrusi) requires no fighting at all, and once you learn the route, you can pretty easily move the Qiqirn around. Double Agent (Mamool Ja) has a bit of fighting, because you'll probably aggro some of the EP puks, but it's still not too bad. The sheep one in Leujaoam also requires no fighting, but there's some elements of luck involved, and a larger party can probably grab more items and sheep.
