Productive yet rough night (FFXI)

PLD 23 -> 25, and that's it. XPing straight after work is darned rough, and tonight was made worse because a bunch of HNM LS people needed stuff synthed (sure I could say no, but the money's good and I want to keep their business). So dinner? Nope, not a bit of it. Not a moment to relax or anything, just tried to pull the party together between LS people and annoying randoms. The LS part of the party was of course fine, but the randoms (especially ones not in the party, surprisingly) were annoying. One seeking person hadn't responded to my invite in 10+ minutes, then got pissed that I didn't wait for him. He /telled me for way too long being annoyed at me. (Stupid guy had things like Maat's Cap in his search comment... yet not his TNL.)

Tanking's okay, interesting even, but I needed to concentrate and couldn't. (Hi yes, let me find a rep for you while trying to make sure the fricking fish doesn't turn from me and eat an innocent party member.) *gives Dani a cookie* I'll never be happy when I take hate off you again, it was quite humbling each time I lost it. :/

After that I got snowmen for all of my mules (yay aggro dodging while stressed and exhausted -- I hate doing that under the best of conditions).

Notice how the items SE is giving out are getting better and better? The HQ dream boots -- sneak every two hours, not once a week like other event charge things. And these snowmen, four storage slots each! Three of them with four each! That's pretty darned amazing.

Tomorrow I need to rearrange my MH more. Oh thank you those snowmen are ice energy and that's just what I need for leather. I was able to put my Sandy flag back up and most of my mannequins back into my layout! Yay!

So hungry now, but bed soon. Darned neighbors kept me up all night last night and they're screaming again now. ><

No more random partying ever again. Never ever ever ever.

Don't forget about HQ dream boots' passive ability! Even a small Sneak enhancement is worth the price of admission, but the enhancement + a free Sneak every two hours is amazing.

But the snowmen are possibly better. More storage space = more inventory slots. The snowmen addition just might alter the way I play the game from now on. I've freed up some much space already. O.o

Ha ha, random partying. I set up my alarm and got up about 15 minutes before midnight to keep the cats from freaking out too much when the warzone started up. Went back to bed when it stopped and they were suitably calmed down.

Stupid new year with nothing particularly worth looking forward to.

Also, the snowmen and boots are awesome. I haven't had a chance to get the snowmen in my MH yet but I can't wait!

I think every player should try out all jobs, just to see things from the other party members' POV. Very very good to know.

And yay! Good luck getting your snowmen! They rock!
