<3 FFXI storylines!

Other than the whole paying to have a galka in a dress blindfold me and carry me off, I loved the Second Lieutenant rank up quest so much! Eee! (No spoilers in the screenshot.)

naikitty, you'll love it even more than me, heehee. (Static's on break while Dani and Des are away, but Aven needed some warm bodies to do three runs of *twitch* the rat/dodge-the-fish one -- luckily he's great at it and basically soloed it while I got lost and tried to feed my rat to a fish.)

RDM is @5K to 75.

Missed both Lost and the new Survivor tonight, but have both recorded. Must make time to watch both soon!

Someone else I know who watches Lost said it was a rerun. Whether this is true... I'm totally not sure. :)

Yeah, about the only way I can get through that Assault is by following Aven the entire time. Otherwise I get lost, run straight into a fish, flail around in panic, etc. ;p

And the Second/First Lieutenant quests are tons of fun. The cutscenes are great, the mini-games aren't too bad, and you never have to leave town!

My god... apparently I need to jump on this campaign thing...

I've been struggling... and I mean S-T-R-U-G-G-L-I-N-G to get RDM to 75. I've made more enemies seeking as a RDM than my entire past years of FFXI just because I refuse to waste my time with some badly made PTs.

I've been sitting at 65 for the past 2 weeks... maybe I need to stop wasting my time with PTs and just do the campaign route.

The First Lieutenant minigames aren't too bad? The first one looked a little hard (find the Qiqirn hiding among the 12 Humes). The second and third look totally do-able though. (Funny, the first one of the SL minigames was the hardest one, too. The second and third were cake.)

The Qiqirn one took me three tries.

The third try was because SE decided that the servers needed to come down after I won on the second, before the end of the CS. D=

I messed up once in the second round, but it's really not that bad. It helps to write things down as you're going through it.

The first round has three Qiqirn, the second four, and the third five. So I'd examine the group of 1-4, write down how many Qiqirn were in it, then repeat for the group of 5-8. From that, I could figure out how many were in 9-12. Then I started checking pairs. If I ran out of pair guesses, I went back to groups, but did ones like 2-5 or 7-10 to try and narrow things down. The wiki explanation is a bit confusing, but you'll get the hang of it once you try it, I think.
