Hockey vs Soccer (RL)

While I'm pretty sure hockey is the most violent sport, I think soccer (football) is the tamest, most loving one. I'm probably wrong, but...

Hockey got pretty tame recently, it used to be more brutal...at least how I remember it. Haven't seen a good bench brawl in a long time.

As a fan of both hockey and soccer (football!), I must say that soccer is far from tame. You may not see bone-jarring hits in soccer, but it is a physical game playing at a very high speed. Soccer players have suffered broken ankles and legs due to poorly timed tackles.

Lastly...I realized that van der Sar and van Nistelrooy used to be club teammates and all (van der Sar is the current Manchester United goalie, and van Nistelrooy used to be their primary striker before Ferguson sold him to Madrid), but I never realized they're so...friendly with each other.
