Chia ordered me to post, so here's a post!

Cold, cold, cold. Even with the heat up to 73, I'm freezing. My living room is drafty as heck. My poor little toes are shivering! My bedroom, where I'd rather have it be cooler, seems to get all of the heat.

My cat has found a new place to sleep: On my desk, right behind my keyboard (so it's between her and me). Sometimes she tries to get closer, which makes typing a challenge. I've set up some soft stuff for her to sleep on, to try to encourage her from rolling/drifting onto the keyboard. Cats are wonderful, amazing creatures. I have no idea how people live without one. Mine just makes me so happy and feel so much love. :)

Not much else going on. I have a cut on the webbing of my hand, between my thumb and palm. Hurts like heck.

Yay, something to read! And look, I'm replying! That's something to do, too! Oh, I feel loved. But I guess I should get a cat, so I feel uber-loved? Well, this is an extremely retarded reply, so rather than drawing it out anymore I'll just shut up. But thank you! You managed to occupy me for five whole minutes, for which I'm grateful!

If you have vents to distribute the heat in your apartment, try closing the one in your bedroom if you haven't already. And make sure the vents out in your LR are open.

You know, that's a good idea. I never even thought that those vents up in the ceiling might be able to be opened or closed. Woo, thanks! I'll check that tonight!
