When I saw this shop linked elsewhere, I knew I'd have to share it with my flist. Visit here and buy things for your friends for Christmas! For your family! And especially for your online LJ buddies! The George W Bush store featuring its line of "Thank You President Bush" items! *falls over dead of amusement* I'm sooooo going to buy that yard sign!

For perhaps the first time ever, all wacky images of the day are work safe! Brain safe! ...well, okay, maybe the third one isn't exactly brain safe, but not in the usual way!

I can't explain this dance(?), but it's seriously cool. Is it a dance? Some wacky play? It came from a Russian LJ, so I have no idea! The colors and background are so pretty though.

Another one from a Russian LJ: I have no idea what the text in this comic says, but I sure do love that art style! I love the rat's expressions, and that purple rat at the end is really pretty.

Lastly, not brain safe, is zombies! Brrraaaiiins ...in a sippy cup, please? That's just too darned cool of an idea. If I didn't want to keep FFXI screenshots as my wallpaper, I'd totally use that.

Once upon a time there was a grey rat. She had big eyes. Long eyelashes. In short, she was beautiful.

And one day, she was instructed to... well, what do rats do? Well, something like this: she was instructed to dig some underground passages to the rats' grain storehouse.

And she was promised a reward: 60,000 grains of wheat. (And the rat really loved money - oops, grains of wheat.) But she wasn't given much time at all to get the job done - only two weeks.

So the rat ran over to the storehouse. Oh, it looked like so much work!

But the grey rat's teeth were small. Her little paws were weak. Oh, she'd never get the job done in time!

What was the grey rat thinking? No one knew, and no one will ever know. But day after day went by - and the work hadn't even begun! Her boss started swearing, and the client was getting worried...

And the rat only held up her paws in a helpless gesture, and kept coming up with excuses.

And so, five days passed like that. And at the end of the fifth day, the grey rat called in another rat... not grey... let's say this one was dark blue. And she said: "Listen - help me out here. Oh, I could get it done on my own, but it'll be faster with both of us working."

[that's the end of the .jpg you posted - continued elsewhere, presumably?]

Woo, thanks for translating! And drat, that was the only page/image that the LJ had. Maybe it was a work in progress.

Funny, even with the long eyelashes, I would have guessed by the drawing that the rat was male. Guess I don't know the standards of beauty among rats!
