I'm finally caught up. Any comments about current or future eps will be behind LJ cuts to keep from spoiling anyone who hasn't watched the week's ep yet.

Now that I'm caught up, I can go back and read all the stuff I've bookmarked but had to avoid. Things like the blog of the guy who does all the music for BSG. Such a great site! Full of cast interviews, musical comments... but I find I can't read it. Having watched the whole series in such a short time, I feel almost like I'm ready to have it end. I hate for it to end, but I feel ready. I've spent enough time watching it, plus I can feel the story winding down.

I had been itching to go out and find fanfic once I could do so without risking spoilers, but now... I feel like I've hit saturation point on BSG stuff. (I started watching Razor, but I had to pause it right away because I feel like I can't take in anymore BSG stuff and it'd be a shame to force myself to watch it now and waste the (almost) last of the unseen story.)

It doesn't help that I haven't really liked the two latest eps. An old, old joke that only one person on my friends list might get: "There's too much talking!". After the manic eps where they were trying to take over the ship, everyone just sitting down and talking seems a let-down. (I suspect if a week had passed between eps, it wouldn't feel this way. I went straight from crazy OMG eps to let's sit around in a circle and share information.)

All this leads to a question: What to watch next? I wonder if there's another series like this that I've missed... I could watch (or rewatch) some anime series, though I wouldn't mind a live action series either.

Odd what a narrow window it was between 'I want more BSG!' and 'too much'. Just this morning I wanted to start watching the whole series over again, but this afternoon I've had enough.

I've been slowly catching up with BSG from where I had left it. I just got to the point where they were at Earth. I believe that's episode 10 of season 4. I don't know, I kinda have a love hate relationship with the series now. I love some parts of it but some of the characters are just so...gah. Especially Star Buck...I mean frig, if they were going to bring her back from the dead the least they could have done was made he absence actually meaningful and maybe have it change her or something like it seemed to do when she "died" but she is just the same freaking character. Bah, they just were dangling the carrot I think.

"There's too much talking!".

HAHAHAHAHAHAH.

I'm probably the one person. ;)

I haven't seen the last two episodes, so thank you for the spoiler cuts coming up. :)

Don't quote me on this, but based on teasers for upcoming eps, I think that might change? The promos Sci-Fi Channel are running now seem to hint something's coming up involving that.
