This is the best thing I've seen all day. Nevermind that it's 8:30 AM. Semi-NWS. Star Trek slash! Not something I'm usually into, but the art is really good and the style is amusing as hell.

Also, I think I may die. So tired! I decided to exercise in the morning before work, because after work it's like "Hmmm, log on and have fun or exerci-- wait for me guys, incoming! *logs on*". Alas this requires me getting up even earlier than usual. zzzz

I bought a Tae Bo DVD. I used to do Tae Bo endlessly, but all I had were videotapes of it, so I had to upgrade. Three different fun ways to exercise now! Boxing (*pantpantpant*), Bollywood dancing ("Oh god, good thing no one can see me doing this!"), and Tae Bo ("Go ahead, muggers, jump me!" *punch!* *kick!*).

Alas, a half-hour of exercise per day isn't enough to counter a sucky diet. Still need to get on top of that end of things. Food needs to be less yummy.

Edit: Maybe I spoke too soon! This video (worksafe) maybe give that first link a run for best thing I've seen all day! Pokerface parody about fonts.

And the song in that video reminds me of how much I loved this video (no nakedbits, but I'd call it NWS for highly suggestive dancing). OMG, that kid is so amazingly sexy! *licks him* Amazing that people can move and dance like that...

So, yesterday my DVD player and The Bollywood Dance Workout With Hemalayaa arrived. It should come as no surprise to anyone that I couldn't hook it up... but at least by this point I knew what I needed (a component video cable), so today I'm up and running! I was very excited to try the new workout today!

Put in the DVD and started to follow along... I'm so so so glad no one can see me. I have zero rhythm! And even less style! I can do two things at once (say, bounce your shoulders and swing your head), but add extra things in and my body gets all confused. Bounce your shoulder! Swing your head! Roll your hips! Bounce your butt! Do steps with your foot! *trips over himself and lands on cat*

How embarrassing is it to say I have no idea how to bounce my butt? I can follow most of the instructions (one at a time, at least), but I have no idea if I'm bouncing my butt right. Happily the DVD tells you not to worry about doing things right, just do something, "right" may or may not come later. (Thus this is a poor DVD if you want to learn Bollywood dance, but good for exercising.)

Anyway, I can happily report that this will be a fun thing to mix in with other exercise stuff. It doesn't get my heart rate up nearly as much as Wii boxing and running in place Active Life Challenge*, but it lasts longer and I move in general more, and there's more types of movement, so I think it'll work out.

* I typoed that as "Active Lice Challenge", which would be a whole different sort of game!
