Pie: Don't ask me how this happened, but the next day the pie was outstanding. I know sometimes flavors have to come together in the fridge, but this was just crust, pudding, and strawberries -- how much merging could it do? Anyway, it was very very yummy (and I have to remember this whole sugarfree pudding thing! 24 calories a serving, 140 if you eat the entire bowl in one sitting -- win-win either way!)

WoW: The problem with WoW (as had been with FFXI) is that it's not really a game you can play for an entire day (I think WoW is actually a little worse for that than FFXI). I'm online by 7 AM, and by 10 AM I'm done with my "work", have gone XPing, dealt with the AH, and become bored.

Since I was bored, I decided to go to Dynamis (Beau). Eh, not really any improvement entertainment-wise (standing around for two hours before it started did not help). And, of course, I got no drops (not that it matters overly much anymore).

It's sort of boggling how... (how do I describe this without being insulting...) "behind" FFXI is. I got a gilseller /tell spam, and out of habit I tried to click the name to report it. (Non-WoW people: You just click the name and pick 'report spam' from a small menu.) Really, go through the work of opening a GM call to report something so simple? The other thing was a ledge as tall as my knee. A distance you could step up without effort RL. On FFXI I threw myself at it over and over and over with no success -- what the hell, game designers? On WoW I hit space bar and jump right up. I cannot believe that something so simple as a single step can thwart every single character on FFXI...

Anyway, more positive things! I found an elite mob in a helicopter! Killing him got me an accomplishment (Northern Exposure) and a bit of armor that will gain me 100G (if it sells, it's been returned once).

The Children's Week event was so simple and easy. x.x Such a nice change! I picked out a rat pet, but perhaps I should have thought twice about that...

And lastly (screenshot-wise), on WoW RP! Either she used size 5 font or she has a massive arm... (That's a little add-on that lets you set an IC description for yourself and see others'. I always enjoy reading them looking for the bad ones. :D )

I (finally) hit 73 this morning. I'm XPing so little I have a half-level of rested XP stored up. I really, really wasn't liking Dragonblight (and I have no idea why), so I did most of 72 in Howling Fjord/Borean Tundra. There may have been few quests left, but I love Tundra so much. I could happily live in a place like that! (So long as I had a warm house and net access...)

I think it may be a little early, but I'm going to go to Grizzly Hills for my XPing starting tomorrow. Looks like a nicer place than Dragonblight. My goal is just to get to 77 so I can fly, then I can fish and go herb picking more easily (though both are capped now, so...). 80? Pshaw! I just want to fly. :P

Speaking of growing up! I'm loving my daily fishing and cooking quests (daily XP/gil/item quests are getting old...). I hadn't realized you get *4* northern herbs per success (unless it's random), that will make skilling easier.

Unless you are a tauren. In which case it is nigh on impossible to jump fences.

I'm a tauren! And I can lumber over things with the best of 'em. (And I look scary leaping into the air to hit something with my GAxe!)

Of course you can't jump up on fences.

It's the bovine instinct to be thwarted by a fence.

That same rare was the same one that got me the Northern Exposure Title on Soladia. Or maybe is was Lotorin.

I'd think that being a Dragoon would allow me to get up very small ledges, but no dice. ;p

At your level, you can start taking part in the best quest chain in all of WoW: The Battle for the Undercity. It starts with this (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11978) quest--if you look at the comment section it'll tell you what quest chains to follow to get to the good part.

Ah, I kept hearing mention of the Wrath Gate event! Thanks for the link. That and the turtle boat were two things I wanted to look up when I had a chance. :D
