Still sick, and WoW quickie

It's very very hard to eat when you can't breathe through your nose. Tiny bite, hold breath as you chew-chew-chew, swallow, gasp for air. Blah.

This morning I thought I had a nosebleed. I sat up in bed and warm fluid ran down my face. I lunged for tissues because I didn't want to get blood all over the place (it was running off my chin at that point). It was just my nose running. c.c I've never had my nose run that much, that quickly before.

Stuff's been happening in WoW (and RP!), but I don't have the energy to type it all up tonight. One small amusing thing. I got a mail message with congratulations and a reward attached. The letter said:

"Wear this tabard with pride. That way your friends will know who to ask for directions when the time comes!"

...ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. If my friends came to me for directions, they wouldn't remain my friends for long. :P

I recommend egg-drop soup. Chicken stock, heated. Crack an egg into a bowl, whisk it up thoroughly. Then drizzle the egg into the soup. Serve with LOTS of black pepper.

Or just order a bowl for like $2 from a chinese restaurant.

How about just the chicken stock part? :P I don't like eggs much and I hate black pepper!

(Generally I get wonton soup when I'm sick. Nice broth and easy to eat wontons.)

Usually a runny nose is a good thing, as it means the stuff isn't sticking around enough to potentially turn into a sinus infection.

If this keeps up, though, you may want to go see a doctor. Starting to feel better and then relapsing was always what would happen to me when I got sinus infections. I'd be sick for about a week, start to get better, and then get worse again.

Yeah, sinus infection was what I was thinking, except I've been on antibiotics (for something unrelated) for almost a week now, with a week left to go. I'd think that if I did have an infection that they'd be knocking it out...

Yeah, that's true. Could just be bad luck. I spent an entire half of a semester in college with a succession of colds and sinus infections. :/

Yeah, I'm hoping it's just luck (or perhaps all antibiotics don't target all bugs...). I have to see the doctor soon for something else, so if I'm not better by then I'll bring it up!
