I'm not sure if WoW has less interesting stuff to post about so I don't feel the need to post every day, or if I just haven't felt like posting (I suspect the former, though even when interesting stuff happens I still don't post, so maybe it's the latter!)
Nearly 79, still haven't gone XPing even once (since 77). Very silly. Getting all my XP though the &$#)~&$)~ grr so boring and redundant netherwing rep quests. So very tired of doing them every day. Ironic: They give you the mount to do the quests on, and I'm sick of seeing it. (And hearing the whoop-whoop-whoop of its wings.) By the time I finally earn it, I won't want it! :P I need about 10K more rep to go. Less than a week-ish.
I decided I want a proto-drake, which means I have to change sides in the frenzyheart/oracles thing and then do the whole netherwing experience again. x.x Plus as I have time I'm working on rep with the walrus people so I can buy the spiffy fishing pole that lets you breathe under water. (On the BIG plus side, at least both of these things are in Northrend. I hate having to go to Outlands to deal with the netherwing stuff.)
RP! Eee! I think I've RPed more in the last 24 hours than I have in a long, long time! Started out last night, I should have gone to bed but a great RPer asked me to RP so I was like eee yes! And I ended up staying up three hours late (and of course I always get up the same time no matter what time I go to sleep). zzz
Then on WoW I had three different scenes! They were all WoW-normal level of RP (not great but not bad -- it's hard to get 'great' level RP on WoW, the format is just so bad for it). And then
kelen asked me if I wanted to play on the MUX! *pantpantpant* Luckily the MUX scene was AU. I had been playing Haken so much all day that I couldn't get his voice out of my head. (Thistle almost grunted! And it was all I could do to keep him from frowning the whole scene!)
Sleepytime soon! More MUX RP scheduled for tomorrow, hopefully some WoW RP around that!

Date: 2009-05-24 05:52 am (UTC)If you hate levelling, it helps a lot to do instances. There's almost always someone looking for more for Utgarde Keep (Howling Fjord) or Nexus (Borean Tundra)...the only problem is that there's so many goddamn death knights around that people will reject you for being a plate wearer--this makes sense in the long run, since the tank should get first shot at all of the plate.
I understand, however, that this isn't always helpful. My mage has been stuck at 70 for a very, very long time :(
If you want a fun ride from 70-80, make a rogue. Leather still drops, and neither tanks nor healers can realistically use it, so (at least on Draka), it's useless to most of your co-players.
My best advice is: Either make a tank or a healer--they're always in demand. For a DK, frost spec = tank. If you don't want to be a tank or a healer, move your non-dk character to Draka, we're always looking for DPS.
Also Draka rocks because me and my buddies are on it, as long as you're thick-skinned. Anything goes in my friends' world.
