OMGWTF rain?

It's raining out. Kiss your loved ones and pets goodbye, the world might just be ending! Yes, yes, if you don't live around here then rain is nothing special, but we only get "rain" (generally sprinkles! Showers!) three months over winter. I can count the times I've seen rain in June over the last ten years on one finger!

No, not that finger, you silly gooses.

Anyway, while at work I wanted to make a ranty 'my life suck' post, but it was about work so I couldn't do it at work, and once I got home I felt better, so yay no ranty post!

I still want ice cream though, dammit. Or M&Ms (*cough*kelen). Or something sweet!

On that unhealthy side of things, non-coupon me somehow got not just one, but two coupons in the mail today for free stuff! A candy bar (or M&Ms!) and a whole pack of hot dogs. o.O I must have filled something out online at some point in time.

WoW is slowly chugging along. I'm at 71% into level 79 and make about 8% XP a day (fishing and cooking Dal dailies, three walrus people dailies, 'kill 10 scourge' daily), so I'll hit 80 by the end of the week. Yeah, I could do it in one day if I wanted, but I'm in no rush and it already takes me hours to do those few quests (I do them between RP poses).

PS: One of the cooking dailies is driving me crazy. I'd bet money it's Michael Dorn voicing one of the NPCs! Human, in a shops, the turn-in for the mushroom loaf one. It's very cool, but kind of disturbing. When Worf says 'For The Alliance!', you consider switching sides...

RP is still eeee! We're still doing the 'RP every moment we're awake' thing, which rocks. :D It's so nice! And it makes me happy! (I was going to make a post about how happy in general I am now, but I'm getting bad about posting.)

On Saturday RP partner went out to propose to his boyfriend (eeeeeeeeeeeee! So sweet! And he said yes! Eeee!) so I had a half-day of downtime. I checked into the MUX, but no one was on (aww!), I logged onto the WoW RP server, but no one was on (sheesh!) Feeling unloved (heehee), I spent the whole time catching up on Tivo'ed So You Think You Can Dance. Six hours of it! A bit of an overload, especially as badly as the show has gone downhill.

And so that's about my life update! Work's rough right now, but RP keeps me happy, so... yay! If I only had some form of sugar, life would be complete right about now!

OMG, rain! It's true that Californians in general totally overreacts when it's raining. I'm always half-expecting one of those newscasts would start talking about "Storm of the Century" whenever it rains. The sad thing is that we do so desperately need rain sometimes...

I know you're excited about your rp, but log into the mux more then once a brief moment? You're going to lose Thistle at this rate. o.o They do keep track of your activity.

If I recall the post correctly, it was FCs' active time that they track, which makes sense. FCs might have other people who want to play them. No one else would want to app Thistle...

*nods* I know Nai knows this, but I don't know if I've told D. I can only play one character at a time anyway (keep one character in my head), so Thistle bumped down to second when I started playing Haken on WoW. My new RP has nothing to do with this, a shifting from second place to third makes no difference in keeping-in-head-ness.

I'd miss everyone though! I'll try to get on this weekend if I can.
