How can I be exhausted when I did so little today? zzz

Scroll back to Friday! Cooking with [livejournal.com profile] tersa! Her mother's meatloaf and mac&cheese! Mmm. Two thumbs up on both!

Saturday: Feels like I spent the whole day cooking (!!!) and somehow had to do three loads of dishes (!!!!!!!) so maybe I did. Since I bought eggs for that, I had extra to use up. Made eggs for breakfast.

Lunchtime heated up the meatloaf for a sandwich. (How did doing this mess up three plates?)

Dinner was only a turkey sandwich eaten on a paper plate, but somehow that produced more dishes.

Sheesh.

RP: I wish there was an OOC channel or something on WoW. I'd like to log in and say hello to folks, but I'd rather not get dragged into general RP. :/ Quality of the average WoW RP aside, the font is just so darned hard to read! I had an hour and a half scene the other night that left me with a horrible headache.

WoW: Finally hit 80! Only took me two and a half weeks to do 79 to 80? Ha ha, I think I've done 74 to 75 on almost every job on FFXI faster! Unlike FFXI, I wasn't in a rush at all. Tomorrow I'll finish the rep I'm working on, and then it will be a serious case of 'now what?'.

Related to that, I XPed on my druid a bit (Thack! It's his name AND what he does with his staff!) Ugh. It's so hard to play a non-pet job. I hope it'll get easier once I have an animal-form thingie. (Started at 7, got almost to 9 before I was too bored to continue.) I can't believe I get hit all battle long. That's just so ... so wrong-feeling.

Logged onto the MUX this afternoon and chatted with folks, which was nice!

And lastly, I so need to try making this! Food on sticks = fun! I'd eat that all day long!

So tired and so hungry, even though I've been eating all day. zzz

How are you planning to play your druid? As a caster or as a melee?

Druid has a bit of a learning curve to it and the first 20 levels before cat form can be pretty tough. If you're planning on going feral, then you should start coming into your own at about 20. If you plan on playing a caster, then it will probably be around level 40 when you get moonkin form.

Yeah, Druid sucks until twenty. Having played both feral and moonkin (Although I stopped leveling that moonkin around 48.), I would highly suggest feral for easier leveling.
Feral is especially nice because you can stealth. I don't even know how many quests were made easier because I stealthed through a ton of mobs and simply killed the quest mob at the end of a tunnel, or some other such location. I had trouble with moonkin, mainly because I'd never leveled druid before when I did that alt, but feral was easy. Just make sure to buy the movement/steal talents. :)

Yay! Feral is the way I want to go. Someone on /g said that it can rip hate off a tank, which made me go eeee! Yay heavy DD jobs! Heavy DPS jobs! :P You get the idea!

Melee, yep! I just got 10 today, so hopefully bear form will make the trip to 20 a little less hard! (It'd be hard to be worse than 1-10... two kills and having to rest.)

Re: OOC

1) Mum bubbles are generally accepted, and
2) You can make your own global chat channels in WoW; I do this because many of my friends are in different guilds. Best part is, they're persistent. When I make a new character, I just type /join bhchat first thing and I'm in a global chat channel with my buddies. When I log out and back in again, the channel is still there even if there's nobody in it, and WoW autojoins the channel.

If you're going to make a global chat channel, I'd advise getting the Chatter addon and disable everything in it but chat link--you can't link items & skills & shit in global player-made chat channels without it. I think I recall seeing a screenshot of yours that showed you were using Chatter, but it might have been someone else.

Of course, you'll still need mum bubbles to communicate OOC with strangers, but with your friends it's as easy as typing one line.

For the font issue, you may want to try adjusting your UI Scale in the Video options.
