I love This is Why You're Fat ([livejournal.com profile] whyyourefat). They feature things I'd never dream of! I've never yet made anything based off one of their posts, but one day! All night I've been drooling over this sandwich. Blueberry syrup! Oh my god, I bet that makes the dish!

Tell me, flist:

[Poll #1419247]

Anyway! On to the images! ...so hungry for fried peanut butter and bacon sandwich with blueberry syrup...

Woman and monkey having a tender moment? Don't ask me... (Might be semi-NWS. The woman is not naked, but part of her pants are semi-flesh colored, so at first glance it might look like she's a bit naked.)

And you wanted NWS! I so need to submit this to icanhascheezburger. (Okay, totally work safe, I was pulling your leg!)

I love India! I love this picture! I'm just not sure if it's a real picture or if someone asked them to dress so brightly for the photo.

Lastly: NWS! Isn't his skin amazing? Looks like someone painted him! Naked man, but no bits shown.

I've eaten (and will still eat) some crazy stuff..

There's a place where they take a monte cristo-like sandwich (nominally healthy) and then deep fry it in some doughnut like batter and then sprinkle it with powdered suger.. its awesome.

That thing looks horrible (but i'm also not a fan of peanut butter, and the bacon needs to crispy... therefore i pretty much only eat bacon when i cook it myself >.>

as i read it, there's no bacon IN the sandwich. Its just a peanut butter & banana sandwich, only instead of bread they used french toast.

Not a terrible idea, on the whole...except making really good french toast yields something that isn't actually toast like, but is closer to a bread-based custard.

"A peanut butter, banana, honey and bacon sandwich on potato bread, dipped in egg batter then fried in bacon fat, topped with butter and blueberry syrup."

Oooh, that sounds like a yummy sandwich, too!

My first thought was it looked like it had the same mold growing on it which grows on blueberries when they go bad o.O If you took out the blueberry syrup, and replaced it with good old fashioned maple syrup, I'd devour that.

Ooh, that'd work, too! Mmmm, like frech toast stuffed with bacon and peanut butter! Mmmmmmm.

The Spanky Cristo seems like it would be an overwhelmingly sweet mess that you should only eat if you: 1) wanna pay for it the next day or 2) you were already doing some heavy drinking and needed something to lessen the effects of the booze.

As for your last link, I'm amazed by the photography, but I wonder if the vase was placed where it was coincidentally or if it was done to add an element of forniphilia into things. I guess I'll never know, but it's fun to think about the possibility of things nonetheless.

Oh yeah, you couldn't eat a Spanky Cristo every day! I think it's more a once in a lifetime thing.

And hmmm, I had thought it was done just for the image of it, but it could have been added for forniphilia folks, too!

See, that sandwich sounds delish. I would absolutely have to try it if it were in front of me.

Same! One day maybe I'll have all the stuff on hand needed to try making it!

I'd think you'd want the syrup on the side for dipping, per usual Monte Cristo condiment procedure. Might get soggy otherwise.

Looks a bit rich for my tastes, and unbalanced towards the sweet side; croque-monsieur-style dishes typically start with a savory sandwich for a reason.

Yeah, on the side would probably be better, but on top makes for a pretty picture.

And rich/sweet works for me! I loved peanut butter and bacon sandwiches before this (mmmmmmmmm, when the bacon is all hot still and makes the peanut butter all melty mmmmm). I don't really like bananas, but I bet in this they'd work. Same with honey!

So hungry!
