Just when I thought I was out, they dragged me back in...

Bored, I decided to see if there were any interesting movies or anything on On Demand. Picked the right remote (I have six of them on my desk...), pressed the button, nothing. Hm. Light on remote was working, but no On Demand. Hit up Comcast's site, went into Live Chat. After a long, roundabout conversation, I was told that since I have my cablecard in my Tivo, I get no access to On Demand.

Buh?

Figuring the Comcast person had no clue what she was talking about (they rarely do), I checked Google. She was right. Huh. Tivo series 3 (HD, cablecard needed) = no On Demand. BLAH! It would have been nice if someone had told me that beforehand!

Grrr. Grumble. Grr. I didn't use it often, but it was nice to watch movies now and then when I was bored....

This is all your fault, Wii!

Pfft, you'd of had to buy a new TV anyways (since yours was almost old enough to turn to dust at any moment!) but the Wii just helped that process along. Not the Wii's fault all these companies didn't get stuff to work together or chose to make it that way.

And ha ha! You and your dad are just too cute. :D I wonder if the theaters around here are doing free popcorn/drinks? *checks* No, but hmm, I could go see it at 9:45 tomorrow morning in IMAX 3D! Wonder if it might not be too busy then... hmmm.

Turns out the free popcorn/drink thing is a special that theatre does. Instead of doing like a matinee day where the admission price is lower on a certain day they give free popcorn/drink on Tuesdays. Which means I now when I'm going to see any movie from now on!
