Glee, SG:U, WoW

With help from willowgrass, I've figured out the trick to enjoying Glee: Turn my brain off, stop looking for any kind of plot (let alone any darkness or heaviness), and just enjoy the music and Sue's horrible/funny comments. :D That totally works! Popcorn, in TV form.

Still totally loving Stargate: Universe. SO SO SO dark! It's just like BSG, only better. For serious! I love the characters so much! And the situations they get into seem so hopeless! I even love the ship! :D It's going to kill me when the season ends.

Brief WoW note: Last night I wrote about how good the AV XP was. Wow, I have no idea what happened to it. Yesterday I got five levels, most of it while doing five hours of AV (with a pair of run-throughs from the wonderful itsbacon). Today? I spent as many hours in AV and didn't even get one level. I had to do a random dungeon and a quest to get one single level, on top of five hours of AV. God, what a waste. (It wasn't a matter of winning yesterday and losing today -- in three days of doing AV Horde has won twice.) I can't explain why the XP was so good yesterday but so bad today.... but tomorrow I might actually quest. Blah.

Edit: Ha ha, it's funny how my "Brief WoW note" is longer than the rest of the post! :P

My guess would be that it was AV weekend until early Tuesday. I'm pretty sure whichever "Call to Arms" it is for the weekend grants more EXP and honour then usual.

OH! I thought Call to Arms was just honor... If it were XP as well, that'd explain it!

Ya, I couldn't find any actual saying that it granted more EXP when I was looking before I posted as well. But the way they say you are granted extra HKs, perhaps it also calculates in for EXP? I don't know, it works though, so I'm sticking with it! :P

Maybe that is the case... something has to be responsible for the massive difference between the two days, and only two things changed: The holiday ended, and Thack was a higher level. Last I recall reading, they were controlling for the different levels in BGs now -- scaling XP per level, not one amount of XP for everyone in the BG, so that leaves only the holiday.

I've been trying to watch Glee, but I don't enjoy it. I can tell what's going to happen in the first few minutes, hate all the characters, and despise the situations. Sadly I think I just have to say that Glee is not for me. Did like the music though. Not the performances, for those were rather lame, but the general music. That was well done.
