Cool music, bro (Music, RP)

I'm not much of a music person, but sometimes I hear a song on the radio and it stays with me strongly enough that I have to look it up next time I'm at the computer. Avett Brothers' Head Full Of Doubt was a song like that.
Lyrics here.
When wiki told me it was folk rock, I stopped being surprised that I liked it. I love music from the 60s and early 70s (pre-disco, folk stuff).
It wasn't until I read the lyrics that it pinged me as Haken-ish. The song starts out living Haken:
There's a darkness upon me that's flooded in light
In the fine print they tell me what's wrong and what's right
And it comes in black and it comes in white
And I'm frightened by those that don't see it
Young holy man, aware the Scourge is out there and coming...
Then the song moves on to freed (future) DK Haken:
There was a dream and one day I could see it
Like a bird in a cage I broke in and demanded that somebody free it
And the next line is so Morn! :D
And there was a kid with a head full of doubt
Picking another of their songs at random, I got The Perfect Space (video of the song). (There are two lines of screaming in the middle of the song, I don't like that part, but the rest is wonderful.) Full lyrics. Tell me this isn't Mornherald!
I wanna have friends that I can trust,
that love me for the man I’ve become not the man I was.
I wanna have friends that will let me be
all alone when being alone is all that I need.
I wanna fit in to the perfect space,
feel natural and safe in a volatile place.
And I wanna grow old without the pain,
give my body back to the earth and not complain.
Will you understand when I am too old of a man?
And will you forget when we have paid our debt
who did we borrow from?
I really like the parts about the debt, that fits so well. (Though I'm not sure the growing old/dying part fits too well?)
Will you forget when we have paid our debts,
who did we borrow from, who did borrow from?
