Wait-- What? (WoW again!)

I got less than two hours sleep last night. An hour and change of very broken sleep. My eyes have that 'exhausted ache' behind them. But this woke me up:

Beta Build 13066 - Portals removed from Shattrath and Dalaran: Blizzard doesn't want you to use Shattrath and Dalaran as portal hubs anymore, the latest beta update removed all the portal to the cities and replaced them with class trainers.

Wait, wait, huh, what? Why? Because we can fly now? But... That's... No. Just no.

I suppose this is less annoying for non-RPers than it is for RPers. Think RP was restricted to a couple spots before?

Blah. I don't understand. I love Dalaran. I love being able to get anywhere from it. Why change it?

However, this is semi-amusing. Unofficial: "the release has been postponed and Blizzard will try to release the game in early December. (Basically, either December 7 or December 14)". It'd be funny if it was the 7th. Cata for my birthday! (Just one day early.)

and if they want people to hang out in the capitals, they need to just put portals in all of them.

That. While I love Dalaran to itty bitty pieces and I'd much rather spend time there than any other city, if they put the portals in another city, I'd be willing to hearth there and call it good enough. Darned well better be a portal to Dalaran there as well though.
