It's quite a trick when a site makes you feel like you're currently reading a book, either the really great experiences with it, or saving you the pain of actually reading it yourself.

I started with Mark Reads Twilight. Every day he read a chapter of the book series, reviewing it as he went along. Highly amusing.

After a while though, I wanted something more positive, so I checked out Mark Reads The Hunger Games. Seeing the books read for the first time through someone else's eyes... man. :D It's the joy of reading it the first time yourself plus the fun of someone else not seeing the plot twists coming.

I'm currently in the middle of Mark Reads Harry Potter, which reminds me of all the reasons I loved the books way back when.

There are also Mark Watches... reviews, though I haven't read nearly as many of those. He really liked Firefly though!

It's so fun to see him be blindsided by plot twists! To go through discoveries with him! And there's soooo much reading to do. :D I've spent days on his site and I'm not even close to having read all his reviews. A highly recommended way to pass large chunks of time!

Man, I am kind of tempted to read Twilight now just so I can see how really bad it is.

...I don't think that's the reaction I was supposed to have. ;p

I know! I own a copy of the first book (bought it when it was first published, before anyone knew anything about it), I'm always tempted to read it to see just how bad it really is.
