Okay, I give up. You win. Please let summer return! I'm tired of being cold! We've had frost (frost!) too many mornings lately! What happened to our lovely 50s-60s winters? Lately when water is left outside overnight it's turning solid. what is this I don't even

Cold at home, cold in the car, cold at work, cold in between. I didn't sign up for this, California! Earthquakes, yes. Cold, no!

I feel your pain. Of course.. I still live in a place where it is fully expected that the planet will try to kill all the things living there for 1/4 of the year. Do not ask me why, I do not know. This year it's just cold everywhere. Jack mentioned 6-8 inches of snow where he is and I almost cried. The South does not get that much snow. It is against its nature. Why oh why must there be winter? Curse you Persephone and your hunger for pomegranate!

Heh- this morning at 7:00, when I was out walking the dog, I hit a patch of ice on the sidewalk (because no matter how cold or rainy it gets, people WILL persist in keeping their sprinkler timers set to "every day") and nearly took a header onto the nearest lawn. I was thinking, "Hey, wow! Tricky footing in the Bay Area! What a novelty."

Gah! Yes! We have our sprinklers on every day here, too. The owner said it actually costs more to turn them off for the winter than let them run. Buh?

Glad you didn't hurt yourself!

*laughs* You, sir, are a manly man! I will be hiding in my bed under 485704954235093 blankets until the cold goes away.

Haha, I was checking my email on the iTouch and I read your response it recognized "485704954235093" as a link! I figured it wasn't and I decided to check it anyways. It said there was no such FedEX shipment to be tracked! Apparently it determined it was a tracking number...heh.

if you can't heat up your apartment, then it's super frustrating. i've given up taking showers when the apartment is 65 degrees or lower. just too painful.
