I like the '365 day page-a-day' calendars, they are a bit of entertainment at work. When I saw a WoW trivia and fanworks one, I thought it'd be perfect!

It's anything but. As of today, it's been nothing but generic game art, not one single fanart yet. Worse than that, the trivia is insulting.

"What famous magical city did (whichever NPC) study in?" The picture is Dalaran. HMMM WHAT CITY COULD IT BE?

"What race did (whoever) create?" The picture with it is a centaur. HMMMM HOW WILL I EVER FIGURE OUT THE ANSWER.

Today's was just plain stupid. The picture is a demon-looking thing, spikes, lots of muscles. The question:

Klinfran the Crazed is also known as...

a) Franklin the Friendly
b) Nelson the Nice
c) Tigol the Tempting
d) Furor the Furious

A demon. A Crazed demon. I bet the answer is B!

I'm going to point out the obvious that the WoW calendar was probably not geared towards someone of your caliber. :)

*laughs* Yeah, but... even pre-teens should need a little more challenging! The picture/answer is right there, ten times bigger than the question itself!

Silly thing. :P

I could forgive the too easy trivia if there were only more fanart in it. That was the selling point for me.

Nelson the Nice was a dreadlord, as far as I remember. e_ea

Google to the rescue! It's a gnome in Silithus. And here I thought the name was just made up!

Crazed demon or no, he went around disguised as Franklin the Friendly. He and his three fellows (who also had such deceptive names as they walked around) were part of an epic hunter quest that started in Molten Core. As someone mentioned, one of the others was called Nelson the Nice when in his humanoid form. While it sounds like most of the stuff the calendar has is dumb, this question was not and was truly a bit of trivia back from when the game first came out.
