Oh Puck, singing Fat Bottom Girls to an overweight girl was so not the right thing to do... yet really in character for you. That aside, it was one of my favorite songs in the series thus far, the male voices sounded so good together!
Blaine and Kurt. Arg. It was so obvious that Kurt wasn't the one Blaine was going to sing to. Poor store clerk guy! Gah! But Kurt and Blaine were so cute together in the end. <3 (Edit: You know, as cute as they are together, I really have little interest left in them being a couple. I kind of keep... my interest keeps wandering towards Kurt/Karofsky. Not now as the characters are, but how it will work out in the future.)
I don't like this new arrogant Finn at all. LOVED bitchy Santana though! And her wrestling with Lauren, hee!
PS: Lauren is the best character since Coach Beiste.
Strange that Santana being mean and horrible is fine with me, but when Will and Sue were horrible to Beiste and when Rachel was a bitch to that little singer she sent to the crackhouse it really turned me off. Somehow Santana's bitchness comes off as silly.
I need to get a Glee icon... I'm so glad this show has gotten good again. I was worried there for a while!
Edit: Huh, Max Adler (Karofsky) did an It Gets Better video. He's so darned cute!

Date: 2011-02-10 02:24 am (UTC)Yeah, I loved the tight (hur hur, I said tight) harmonies in Fat Bottom Girls, even though it was such a painful social faux pas. I'm not sure what was going on with Tina and My Funny Valentine. That was just weird, and if it was a joke it sort of lacked a punchline.
The new arrogant Finn IS OBNOXIOUS, I agree. But you know, I think he goes through cycles of that. Before 'I can have any girl' it was 'I'm the star quarterback' and 'Quinn and I are the star couple,'. Then he says something really cool (like his speech to Rachel when he gives her the necklace) and I fall in love with his character again.
I look forward to the day when Kurt goes back to McKinley, but I really love what they're doing with his character. It seems like now that he's interested in a guy who swings the right way, a lot of the thoughtless that he showed when he was pushing at Finn has sort of faded away. He was pretty blatant about coming on to Finn (even if it wasn't a physical come-on) but with Blaine he's been hesitant to speak, and when he did it was simple and honest and not catty-Kurt at all. It makes me happy, because I like his character a lot. (But yes, you know, I can see him and Blaine turning into BFFs and Karofsky coming into the picture. I liked the promise Karofsky showed at the end of the Thriller ep).
Kudos to Max Adler for the video! Not that Karofskys don't exist in the world, but it's cool of him to reassure watchers that he's playing a character.

I have no idea at all. My guess was that she was missing... whoever she was with before Mr. Nice Abs. Artie? That's just a total guess though, hopefully it'll be explained soon because otherwise I'm lost on that point.
Agreed on Finn! And more than that, shouldn't half the school now have mono? Since he was kissing so many girls? (And really, teens are shallow and all that, but would so many want to kiss him based on just one game?)

Yes! Which makes a lot of sense. I could see the pressure and drive letting up now that he finally knows someone else who is out. (In one of the older eps he noted he was the only person out at McKinley. That's got to be depressing and lonely!) I would be 100% happy with Blaine as the BFF and something going on with Karofsky
