I almost peed when I saw this.

She almost peed. Because she was happy. I swear, I swear, I swear I want to stab these people. How amazingly stupid, what awful, stupid, horrible, awful slang. Gods above, what in the world makes these people not just accept but USE such stupid slang?

Also, the Oxford English Dictionary has added "lol". No, this will not change my opinion on it. No, this will not make me start using it. I will go to my grave never having used "lol". (Other than that way, referring to it.)

I'm in such a bad mood. It's only Tuesday. I don't want to be at work. I want to be home. I want to RP. Stupid Keen is whining in my head. I'm hungry. I just want to go home and stay there.

I'd say "being an adult sucks", but I suppose if I were a kid I'd be using pee slang. Maybe I should be happy I have to be at work...

My little sister actually has this problem, ever since she had my niece. If she vomits she automatically pees. If she gets too excited she pees (like a puppy!). If she laughs a bit too hard, etc.

I use "lol" way too often for my liking. Funny story, one of my friends started hating me when I first started using it because the girl he wanted to get with used it often, and I never used it before I talked to her. I didn't talk to her much at all, but he got jealous because I started saying "lol!"

I also say "lawl" when I'm talking in Vent. Yet it irritates me when a certain other person in a Vent server I go to uses it.

I will admit that every time I end a sentence with "lol" I die a little more inside.

I don't use a period because I have no damned idea where to put it! If I put it before the lol, it seems awkward. If I put the period after, then I feel it's part of the sentence...which then makes it awkward.

And THAT is why I die a little every time I end a sentence with it. You won't have to kill me, I'll eventually die of natural causes of improper punctuation/internet-term at this rate.

You know, I have to say, I think it's outright *cheating* to say LOL if you didn't actually laugh out loud. If you're laughing on the inside but didn't actually laugh out loud, don't say lol. Just say (type) "Ha ha!" or something.

It's not punctuation, it stands for something! If you must use it, use it right!

Speaking of weird slang... I'll use lol when I'm not really laughing and i'll occasionally use WTF. I don't use other acronyms like ROFL or FML, though I don't get irritated when other people use it. I do get irritated by the pee slang (i know only one person who uses it) and I get very irritated by pwn or pwnage. It's a friggin typo as far as I'm concerned. And I get irritated by weird cApiTaLiZAtiOn, l33t-speak and lol-speak (i can haz cheezburger). I also dislike the ones following exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111 Also I get irritated with U for "you" and R for "are" and 4 for "for". I can also be anal about there/they'r/their and your/you're. And today I got a fortune in a fortune cookie that used foreword when it should've been forward. Ugh.

I must not be cool enough to get it.
