My Secret Shame...
Mar. 29th, 2003 09:33 pm...isn't so secret anymore! And it's all Hyper's (
peppygrowlithe's) fault. Totally his fault, and he cannot say otherwise.
I watch and enjoy Yu Gi Oh.
Oh, I so hated it at first. I hated the animation. I hated that it was based on some card game. He kept telling me to watch it. He kept asking me if I watched it. He kept talking about the storylines.
And I got into it.
I'm watching it on Cartoon Network now, and I realized I've even grown to like the animation style. Bah... And there's no way in heck that I'd have ever believed it before, but the storylines actually have some depth.
It's all Hyper's fault.

Date: 2003-03-30 07:50 am (UTC)Ditto. Its not on UK TV, but when I was staying at my grandparents, I saw it on their cabel channels and ended up getting at 7am, every morning to watch the double episodes.
And the bad guy - YUM! Although, now, I see him combined with Lucius ;) Is that so very wrong?
Re:
Date: 2003-03-30 09:03 am (UTC)The main bad guys are always yummy! Which one did you see? The one with long silver hair (Pegasus, I believe) or the one with *drool*drool* dark tan skin and very blond hair (Merrick)?
Re:

Date: 2003-03-30 09:17 am (UTC)I've failed to find any online screenshots, so one day when I have time I'm going to grab a few myself.
Oh, I've drooled over cartoon characters before; I've long since buried any worries over doing it. ;)
Re:

Re:
Date: 2003-03-30 09:25 am (UTC)Anyway, back to Yu Gi Oh. It's probably the most popular cartoon in America right now, so we'll likely get a lot more eps. What sort of cartoons do you have over there?
Re:
Date: 2003-03-30 09:44 am (UTC)The only one I loyally watch is The Simpsons. Other than that, Recess is one of my favourites. I used to love Futurama as well, but they cancelled it here. British TV really sucks.
As for sexy-Disney - apparently the version of the Esmeralda-in-fire dance that was in the film was the edited and toned down one :D They had to dress her, because the Artists originally made her stark naked :)
Re:
Date: 2003-03-30 09:49 am (UTC)Luckily the Simpsons is still running here with new eps. It's no where near as popular as it once was, but not fallen so far that it might get cancelled... unlike Futurama, which was cancelled here as well.
Wow, naked. It'd be cool if Disney would make two versions of each movie, one for kids and one for adults. Ah well...
