It surprises me greatly to say this, but I think I like this new version of ThunderCats. Only downside is that finding Cheetara sexy makes me feel kinda furry-ish. :P WilyKit and WilyKat are darned cute!

The other cool trailer I found is for a fan-made ElfQuest movie. Folks remember that comic? The trailer is here, the whole movie comes out in a few days. The fun part about this is that the creators of ElfQuest approve of it!

OMG, I totally recognize those Elfquest characters. Now I need to track down a copy of the comic. So cool!

And Cheetara is awesome. Still think the original designs were cooler, but these are not bad at all.

I'm semi-rereading the comic now! I read a couple pages a week or so before I get distracted by something else. It's surprising that the story is still entertaining! It aged well.

Agreed! These aren't bad at all, I was expecting something horrible and painful!

Who in the world would want to do a DoS attack against LJ? I'd think they'd go after more popular targets, like Facebook or something.

Ya one of the sites I goto had a new article yesterday titled: "Cheetara gets a boob job" obviously I clicked the link because you can't not click a link like that. But to answer the pressing question, yes I'd totally be furry for Cheetara.

I'm wary. The opening of Thundercats was always so badass... but the show usually involved people talking. A lot. A lot of talking. Nowhere near as badass as the opening. As a young and easily distracted child that bored me.

Now this... this looks cool. Very cool, I'll admit. But will it look cool and ending up with a lot of people walking around talking? Dun dun duuuuun...

(Also, Snarf actually looks... cute. But will he be as bloody annoying as he was in the original?!)

The Thundertank will be present in the cartoon, but it will have some major updates, including new missiles and motorcycles that come out of the arms. Finally, Snarf won't be nearly as hatable as he was in the original cartoon. Apparently the folks behind the show are taking Snarf in a decidedly Pokémon direction: He'll still say "snarf" a lot, but he'll also make other animal noises that Lion-O will be able to understand."

Maybe because I was a teen when the original series was on, but Snarf never really bothered me (other than that he stood up on his tail, that seemed stupid). Still, this new Snarf does seem better!

I suspect they'll do it right this time. Cartoon Network can put out some good (good for adults!) cartoons. I have high hopes for this!

I wonder when it will start? Sites just say "2011"...
