I'm messed up...
Mar. 30th, 2003 05:04 pm...and a bunch of people won't argue this.
I have more and more reasons to look forward to Mondays.
1) I spend all weekend working, doing unpaid work. 15-16 hours a day of MUSH and other online work. It's gotten way way old, especially when fully half the weekend I'm the only staffer online.
2) I'm a $&*&@ adult, why can't I feed myself on the damned weekend? I ate Friday night. I snacked a couple times on Saturday. Woke up this morning starving. Now it's too late to go out and get food because I have Sunday night MUSH work to do. At least when Monday comes I'll eat on a regular basis.
3) Likely related to #2, I'm surly as hell. I feel mean and nasty and short tempered and ready to snap at anything.
4) On Monday, the
hp100 (weekly writing challenge, write a HP story in 100 words) posts its new challenge. Writing is scary (stop snickering,
isiscolo and
amanuensis1! It is!), but doing it in 100 words is a whole lot less daunting, so I take part in it.
On the other hand, I do get to catch up on my sleep on weekends (8 hours a night instead of 5-6), so there is that.

Date: 2003-03-30 06:32 pm (UTC)naturally, i couldn't resist waving at you. i've had to spend ungodly amounts of money to acquire NEARLY all of clare bell's books...and it's not exactly every day you run into someone else who's even heard of her. so...
*waves madly*

You might like to know that she's intending to write more books, it's just slow going because she's doing a lot of other stuff as well. (She lives right close to me, and we've exchanged a few emails and stuff.)
