Cool Runnings, a 1993 Disney movie "based on the true story" about the first Jamaican bobsled team. I had seen it in the theaters when it first came out and enjoyed it then, but I was curious to see if it would hold up so many years later. The answer is a big YES.
This is one of the best movies I've seen from Netflix in a while. It really surprises me to say that. Was it silly? Sometimes. Was it funny? Heck yes, often times. Was it touching? Sure was! It even had music by the same fellow who did the Lion King music! Not to mention, good looking men and women with great accents.
I don't have a single negative thing to say about it, it was an all-around light, enjoyable, fun, touching movie. If you have Netflix and an hour and a half, I'd recommend it!

I've been wanting Alex to see it, since I think he'd get a kick out of it, but short of hunting it down on Amazon it seems to have dropped off the face of the earth.
