For some reason, milk squicks me. I eat beef and cheese, so I'm not sure why milk grosses me out, but it does. Finally I tried this Silk stuff (soy milk) and OMG so good! Tastes great and is good for you! Mmm!

And eeeeee, this commercial! I teared up and sniffled through it.

And Glee! They used the Songbird song finally! EEEEEEEE! I was spoiled to it coming up a couple weeks ago. It wasn't as pretty as the original (You can listen to it here), but such a perfect song for them! Eeee I've never been into femslash before, but I love them so much. :D

...okay, Will, you really need to NOT tell children about what kind of underwear you wear. UGH.

This is such a win ep for music though. Love almost all of it, which is uncommon for me.

You know, it's funny. I write about Glee every week, but I never feel like writing about Game of Thrones. GoT is so good, so perfect, but I watch it once and then that's it. I never even feel like watching the eps a second time. It's odd. It's almost like I have no emotional connection to it yet.

I've watched GoT a minimum of twice per episode... once the second it finishes downloading, by myself, and then at least once more with Alex. I actually find it really fun watching it more than once, because I notice little details (clothing, an expression, a gesture, part of the scenery) that I didn't notice before. Kinda like the first time through I watch for the story and interactions, and the second time around I can appreciate the art. But I can see not wanting to watch it again - with a lot of things, no matter how good they are I can't watch them in rapid-fire. Sometimes it feels like they lose their meaning. Or something like that.

I think I'd do a lot more ranting about stuff if it didn't hurt so bad to type at this point. On the bright side, my sister has been watching with me (I think I've mentioned before she hasn't read the books, so everything is new and shocking to her) and it's a lot of fun to see her reactions. Plus, then we can sit around together and yammer excitedly about every little detail. Alex and I discuss each episode, but it's more along the lines of, "Oh, that scene is straight from the books." or "Hm, so-and-so looks just like I imagined."

I suspect once the season ends that I'll rewatch the eps then. It should be interesting to see them at a much faster pace (one per day, likely).

Ha! It'd be interesting to watch them with your sister (or someone else who hasn't read the books).

Feel better soon! And I mean that! Don't make me come over there. :)

Yeah, I'm totally looking forward to the seasons being out so I can just watch stuff straight through like we did when watching Rome. But at the same time... I can't help but be a little bit glad it's stretched out. It totally gives me something to look forward to. That and the book. I'm so freaking giddy about the book in July!

I'm honestly really glad she got into it. I wasn't sure if it'd be her thing or not, she's usually not big on fantasy (she likes intelligent shows, but more stuff involves spies and murders and whatever, "real life" things). She surprised me though, and is really into this. I love her fresh perspective, it makes it double fun for me.

And, thanks! The painkillers I've started up help me feel a bit more like myself, I just gotta be careful not to overextend or I feel it later! But hey, that which doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, right? XD

I heard that they were supposed to perform Rebecca Black's "Friday" on Glee sometime, have they done that yet?

Though I have yet to hear the original. O_o

Nope, not yet! And I haven't heard it either. Doesn't seem like something I'd seek out to listen to...

Considering the only reason it's so popular is because it's terrible? Yeah, I wouldn't seek it out either. D= I actually made a co-worker listen to it to explain why I kept hearing about it.

Come to think of it, if I think I'll be terrified of something, I do send people to do the dirty work a lot. O_o

This is supposedly Glee's cover of it. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vymjOyzc3k0&feature=player_embedded)

Having not watched Glee, nor having listened to the song itself, I'm not trying it out to see if they're right.

That's actually not as bad as I thought it'd be. Maybe because it's a Glee remix. Maybe the original is worse! I shall not check that out though.

Thanks! ...or maybe not thanks, I can't stop listening to this.
