Catholic school bans rainbows for being gay...

Kids raise money, Catholic school refuses to let them donate to any gay causes.

But here's the "best" part: Board chair Alice Anne LeMay told Xtra then that the board "doesn't allow Nazi groups either." Seriously? Seriously? You're equating gay groups with Nazis?

This makes my head hurt. So much hated and ignorance.

I feel kind of sorry for the school (not the board, they are clearly...crazy is the closest word I can think of right now). I mean, they even said the principle is fine with marching in Pride but it seems more like they basically have to try and protect themselves from the boards stupidity by going in a roundabout way that they can't say the school they are from.

I expect to be hearing about this a bunch on the radio tomorrow since they haven't really had anything important to talk about for a few weeks so they'll jump on this like starving wolves.

Although my head nearly imploded from the infuriating teenage logic in the beginning of the article "rainbows could mean anything, duh!" *face desk* Much rather have seen "Yes, this is how we show our pride, deal with it!" or something to that effect.

I expect to see a resurgence in the argument about catholic schools being tax payer funded with this madness.

Also ALSO GAIZ BREAKING NEWS rainbows are LIGHT going through PRISMS OF like WATERANDSTUFF. This almost ranks up there with that one report about those people being all OHGODWATDIDTHEGOVERNMENTPUTINOURWATER over rainbows in sprinklers.
