So tired. I have no idea how I can both not sleep and get nightmares. Maybe three hours of very broken sleep last night, and in that time I had three nightmares, all basically the same. Ten people taken and placed on the block I grew up on, all had to kill each other, last one standing "wins" (gets to survive). As I don't fight, run slower than anyone, and have generally no survival skills, this game was really not very fun for me. In addition to the nightmares, I got up twice during the night to be sick. Stupid body.

Work was rough, then yay RP! Eeee! Basically all afternoon and evening I spent RPing, woot. :D Happy stuff!

And then the wonderful prettyredeyes drew Thistle for me! :O Suddenly I have more pictures of Thistle than any other character! (Even more than FFXI Thistle had, I bet!) You can see the small version in the icon, but look at the full sized version! Is he not cute as a button? :D And his hair is so perfect and I love the texture of the picture! And his armor makes me grin. :D

My sinuses are killing me today. I'm going to go to bed early, but I hope they don't keep me up.

Sometime during the day today I watched the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead. SO MUCH LOVE IT DESERVES ALL CAPS. Shane is the most interesting character ever. :D I'm not sure why the idea didn't strike me before this ep, but Rick's group has guns, the other group does not. Why would they just leave? I know they want to be nice and good, but if your choice is between squatting on someone else's farm and death? Really? You're going to just wander off? I hope Shane gets this idea too, and they stay by force

I'm so glad I figured out how to control my dreams about 8 years ago. Not if I get them or even if I remember them, but how to basically realize it's a dream and use super powers to defeat whatever situation I'm in. It's also great fun for the non-bad dreams as well!

Lucid dreaming, yeah. For a time I was learning how to do that (that's why remember so many dreams now), but I gave up before figuring it out. I wish I hadn't, because it must be the best thing ever. Imagine dreaming about anything you want, anyone, doing anything.

That mid-season finale (I don't know what that means, I confess), hot dang. I did not see the ending bit with the barn coming until about two seconds before it became clear. It felt like a really obvious twist afterwards, but it took me completely by surprise. Which is the way the best twists are, imo. :D

I love Shane as well. I don't think Rick would work half so well as a character without Shane there to serve both as second and contrast. I can't wait to see what they end up doing with him, I haven't read the comics at all so I have really no idea.

And icon d'aww! I love his ears. Good luck with the sinuses and nightmares, neither of those are exactly sleep-conducive, I'm aware. D: Thinking good, non-congested thoughts.

That mid-season finale (I don't know what that means, I confess)

Basically it means no new eps for months. D: What shows now do is break their season into two parts, so they can have new eps ready to show for Sweeps Weeks (when show ratings are counted). So instead of just showing no new ones over the summer, now they show no new ones over the winter, too. I hate it.

Yes! Totally agreed on the barn twist. :D

I know, I haven't read the comics either. I have them all waiting to read, but I worry if I start I won't be able to stop where the show is, I don't want to get spoiled.
