Also, thanks to info seen on that site, I ordered the special edition of book five. I considered canceling my order for the normal paperback one, but... eh. Looks like the paperback one will get her first, so I'll just take both!

I actually had to go "buh?" several times (and look at the special edition link) to figure out what you were probably referring to. :)

Date: 2003-04-27 03:14 pm (UTC)I'm not a publishing expert, but, yes, I still call that a hardback book. The paper covering is just a slip cover or, wait, "dust jacket" (just remembered the term).
Paperbacks have no hard cover binding at all, just...thin stock paper.
