Two (or three, or four!) videos!

1) I'm not a music person. I rarely listen to it, I have very little interest in it. Now and then I regret that. WoW has new music coming out in this patch, and I wish I knew why it catches my attention so hard, I wish I knew how it makes you feel things.

It feels slightly "off", darker than it should. It's surprising to me that music could make me interested in something, but the first part (the first 44 seconds especially), feels almost like it's telling a story. How does something without words tell a story!

2) It's rare for me to watch an advertisement, let alone rewind so I can watch it again, but I love this Baileys Irish Cream commercial. (No idea why there's no apostrophe in Baileys...) The song is great (I remember roller skating to it as a kid!), but it's the women and the graphics that make it:

I actually like the shorter 30 second TV version better, but either way it's a really nice watch. I love the women, they're so pretty and look like they're having fun, love the dresses, love the coloring, love how they all move.

Busby Burkeley used to do a lot of that sort of thing for his movies - absolutely iconic; I love those old movies.

Oo, I like the new Darkmoon Faire music. Carousel music always sounds faintly nostalgic to me, and the dark edge to this appeals to me. I've always felt like there should be a sinister backstory to the Darkmoon Faire, like some ancient power is siphoning off little bits of your soul while you're there to feed itself... You know. Something like that.

Now I want some Bailey's. If I drink some Bailey's will I get to wear a dress like that and dance like a sexy ballerina? Advertising at its finest!

Wouldn't that be great? In some future patch, there could be a DMF raid! And that it only comes once a month would make it even more special. (Or maybe DMF only comes if some guild beats the raid? WRA would never see DMF again! :P )

And ha ha! If only drinking Baileys would give me a body like that! I'd supply my own dress and happy dances. :D

Don't know how you could stand it then. I played in a state youth orchestra when I was young, but AP Music Theory quickly sucked much of my enjoyment from it. And I like math!
