The bad thing: Somehow I broke a tooth. How the heck does that even happen? I was eating lunch, thought I hit a bit of bone in my meat, but didn't check (spit it into napkin and tossed it). Hour or two later, I noticed my tooth felt really odd to my tongue. So, thankfully there's no pain (hopefully there's no 'yet' anywhere near this issue). I have an emergency appointment to see my dentist on Thursday morning. I'm eating only the softest foods I can find and chewing on the other side until then.

The good: I really like how much 80s music they're using in commercials lately. It's so fun to hear the songs again! And in some cases, see the old videos. Check out this car commercial! Such a great play on the old music video (other than the last 15 seconds).

Owww. I broke a couple teeth a year ago, just a month apart. Not fun. I guess it is another part of getting older.

I guess so. Maybe I need to start drinking more milk or something! I hope not to have this happen again... :/

Ouch! Hope the dentist visit isn't too expensive. That would be adding insult to injury.

Arg, yes! Not exactly an expense I need right now.

My front teeth are both chipped and slightly discolored.

It frightened and upset me when it happened. I brush my teeth twice a day, often floss because I haaaaaaate the feeling of stuff between my teeth, drink plenty of milk... and I have no money for dental care.

I was positive that my teeth were going to rapidly crumble away and I was going to be nothing but gums, but nothing more has chipped off in the years since and even the sharp edges have worn down a little. And there's never been any pain... except maybe some soreness when it first happened and I kept CONSTANTLY probing the spots with my tongue.

It'd be nice to get it fixed, but I still have no money for dental care. :/

Same thing happened with my front tooth. I broke a chip off maybe 15 years ago, and it's been fine ever since. My molar was different though, it had an actual hole in it (makes me twitch just thinking about it!). If nothing else, I'm sure food would have gotten stuck in it and would become an issue.

I'm glad yours hasn't hurt! Hope you can get dental coverage soon. I know how badly it must suck to not have it.
