Dear Ellie New Cat,

I've written this letter to you before. You didn't read it then, and I don't hold much hope you'll read it now.

The apartment we share is almost all hardwood floors. Only the bedroom has carpet. Why, when you have to throw up, must you do it on the carpet? Also, 4:30 AM? Really? Late enough that I'll never get back to sleep after getting up to clean up your mess so it wouldn't stain the carpet.

We are slowly switching the entire house to wood floors because of this...

Hmm, I'll try those! She's a little picky when it comes to treats (mostly she only likes Greenies), but maybe those will work for her.

I really like hardwood a lot better, and not just for cat vomit reasons. It's so nice and clean!

Yeah, it's like they do it on purpose. Maybe they think it will be easier to bury on a rug? Though I never see mine trying to cover it after she throws up, she just stares at it a moment then walks off.

It is in the cat's rule book that they must throw up on the carpet I'm sure of it. I have wooden and carpeted floors and it is always on the carpet. Last week it was on my bed. I love Spike, truly I do. :D

Luckily I heard his pre-throwing up sound effects. Just wish I'd made it to my bedroom to grab him and put him on one of the hard floors.

Not keen on the having to wash the bedding I had changed only the day before. :(
