Let's have a random image post! These used to be "random LJ images", but those sites are mostly gone nowadays, so they're just random images from around the net.

And on apples, I eat a lot of them nowadays. Twice now, I've found the oddest, most disturbing thing. Two different apples had no seeds in them, but instead thick white thread-like things. The first time I encountered it, I thought the core was full of worms (and nearly threw up). The second time was no less gross. I had hoped to never encounter that again, and now every time I cut into one, I worry. Anyone know what in the world causes that? It's so very disgusting and disturbing.

I think the white stuff in the apple is a type of mould. Core rot, I think it's called, or something like that.

I hope you didn't let your cat drive after taking those pills!

The car in the photos seems to have some political point to make. Maybe they should try not being so subtle if they want people to understand it...

Did the seeds sprout? I've had sprouted seeds inside my apples before. They look like thick white worms.

There were no seeds at all. I'd think if they had sprouted, the seed would still be there?

Hmm... good point. I don't think I've encountered sprouts without the shells before. Well, definitely a good thing you tossed 'em. Cut them up first from now on, I think. Always avoids surprises, and razor blades ;)

Interesting pics... Being a pharmacist, I got a belly laugh out of the cat script bottle. and quite the gas station store! Clearly trying to prove that not all gas station convience stores aren't sketchy! :)

Yeah, and I bet it helps with business, too. I'd go out of my way to shop at that one instead of a grubby one.
