Princess Anna, from Frozen, is the main character in a game that lets you remove her baby by C-section.

While work safe, the whole idea behind that game is kind of disturbing. You can see step-by-step pictures of it all at the above link.

3-6 months after major surgery (or childbirth, ha), you can lose anywhere from some to all of your hair. As yesterday was the four month point for me, I was hoping I was going to make it through without losing any. Then suddenly I started shedding all over the place. Boo! I hope it just thins, that I don't get noticeable bald spots. Worse comes to worse, I guess I'll just shave my head. :/ Hopefully I won't get to that point though.

Four months is the point where I can try eating raw vegetables and beef. I had some lettuce today, and it was surprisingly good. I don't think I've ever actually enjoyed lettuce before!

I haven't tried beef yet. Oddly I don't miss it at all. I'll probably try it sooner rather than later though.

Going out to work group lunches is something of a pain now. I paid $25 today for a couple bites of food. My meal was only $10 (cheapest on the menu), but most meals were $20 and everyone wanted to get an appetizer platter as well... which cost twice as much as my meal. Then when the bill came, we split it four ways. (At least in my work group, we always just split the check that way... which is fine for them, but I make a small fraction of what they all make, so if I order less I'd like to pay less.) So I had about a teaspoon of hummus from the $20 appetizer platter. Everyone else seemed to enjoy it, but I neither needed it nor wanted it. I got three meals out of my lunch so far, and enough meat left for another meal tomorrow, so at least that's something. It's just paying $25 for it is crazy...

Can you not re-negotiate the eating out arrangements? It's hardly fair - and your friends should recognise that.

I don't want to look like the cheap one. I'm sure they would if I said something, but I work with them every day, so it's probably better not to make waves and just pay extra for everyone else's food. :/

I don't think you would look cheap at all.

I am sure they must be aware of the situation (unless they choose not to be) and should suggest a different arrangement themselves.

What a strange app... It makes me wonder who thought the world needed that.

Sorry about the lunch thing. I am always of the opinion that the check should only be split if folks had pretty much the same thing.

Wow, there should be a more fair way to split the bill that's agreed upon, IMO. I'd feel bad if a lunch partner whose tab was very low ended up stuck with part of my tab.

That app is just all sort of weird...Disney is one of those companies that are quite rabid about protecting their copyrights. Something tells me they are going to be all over this!

Oh man, that app looks like it comes from the same people who make all of those horrifying "dentist" and "nose doctor" flash games. There are hundreds of these stupid things scattered all over the internet; all they do is switch up which IP they steal from. You can see one of the "nose doctor" games a few seconds into this link. Warning: awful.

(The above is from a let's play where they explore the horrible things fed to kids when they Google for "girl games". It's...enlightening.)

Wow, that's so amusing and horrible! I can't imagine letting a kid play most of those (the pony one at the end was the least worst of them, that one might be okay for kids).

The Disney princess game looks creepy. The only reasons I could see for it is if it was medically correct (as an educational tool for the curious) but it doesn't look like it is.

The eating arrangements don't seem fair at all. That kind of split only is if the people had around the same thing. :/ At least you got a few meals out of it but it's still pricey.

As someone who buzz clips their head on a regular basis.. it's not that bad. :) I know there's a horrible stigma about women and their hair, but really it's been a joy for me.

(Mostly because I'm allergic to shampoo and none of the alternatives work for crap.) But still.. I love it.

Just remember, it grows back. :) Hair loss is not the end of your world, and in fact most people won't even notice. *big hugs!*

Thanks! I kind of always wanted to try bald, and I'd LOVE a buzz cut, so it's not really the end of the world... I just wanted it to be my choice.

D: I think you should speak up about the lunch thing, honestly? Usually splitting the bill like that isn't an issue, but when there's always one person (and the same person at that) being shafted because of it, it's time to think of something else. Could you you not pay separately?

Yeeah, that's usually what I tell people to do if they're not used to splitting the bill this way (it's not that common in Norway, over here we usually just pay for everything separately). But again it felt wrong telling you to "just order more!" since you have dietary requirements. It doesn't seem right or fair, really :/
