Neither cute nor funny: They're remaking Poltergeist. Because of course, what in the world aren't they remaking?

Yep, agreed. Why does it need to be remade? The original was great and still is to this day.

It looks sadly different to me. :/ I'm not interested in seeing it, I'd rather rewatch the original.

The fact that it's the same people that did the remake of Evil Dead also annoys me...do they have no original thoughts?? Poltergeist was never about the scares for me, it's all about the family dynamics. I love the way everyone interacts, it felt so real.

Poltergeist scared the poo out of me and still does to this day. I have no idea why, but something about it just makes goosebumps ride and my eyes tear up from fear. But still, I'd do a rewatch of it in protest of the remake!
